Skin Care I Can’t Live Without
Hey Everyone!
I hope everyone has had a great weekend. Tonight I wanted to tell you guys about the skincare I can’t live without! To give you a background on my skin type, I have normal to dry skin that can be a little red in tone. The older I get, the more troublesome spots pop up! I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to my skincare & I probably should have a more intense regime as I get older.
The cleanser that I use is the First Aid Beauty face cleanser. It doesn’t dry out my skin & is unscented for anyone that has sensitive skin. It’s relatively inexpensive with a 5oz bottle being 20 dollars. it makes my skin feel clean without being tight.
My every day moisturizer is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration. Again, it’s unscented so good for sensitive skin, and it just provides great hydration before my make up or when I just get out of the shower. At Sephora, you can buy a 6oz container for 30 dollars. Definitely cheaper than some of the high end brands, and it gives my skin the hydration it needs, even if it has been dry.
My favorite night time serum is the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum. I. AM. OBSESSED. WITH. THIS. BRAND. but I’m poor & can’t afford it but you better believe this brand is my sample of choice at Sephora. If you get anything though, this serum is worth the money. I wake up with better skin after one night! At 90 dollars for one ounce this definitely is the most expensive thing on thing on this list. They have a sample set that’s 30 dollars at Sephora so you could try it before you splurged.
I suffer from some pretty awful dark circles & puffy under eyes. I’ve always had them & the older I get the worse it gets. Eye cream is such an important part of a skin routine & a lot of times eye cream isn’t incorporated. I really love the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Crème. A little goes a very long way & it is the only eye cream I’ve used to actually diminish my dark circles! I use it at night & in the morning. Make sure to use a tapping motion with your ring finger because it will apply the least amount of pressure to the sensitive under eye skin. The cost is 38 dollars for .5 oz of product which is pretty on par if not cheaper for high end brands.
I get the dryest, most crackly lips. I don’t know why but dry lips has always plagued me. I really love the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. It is the only treatment that seems to improve my lips hydration & as someone who loves to wear liquid lipstick, it’s super important. The lip mask comes in five different flavors: natural which is clear, smashed which is a sheer candy apple red, champagne a rose gold pearl, maple a sheer bronze, & lavender a pale pink. I’m obsessed with everything lavender & really want to try this one. I’ve been inpatiently waiting for it to come to the US. A tube of .52 oz is 26 dollars.
Last but not least is the lotion that I keep on my night stand next to my bed & put on my hands every night before I go go sleep. It is Lush’s Sleepy Lotion & this scent is to die for. (I told you I had a thing for lavender) This lotion is thick, creamy, moisturizing, & fast absorbing. I know when you think of skincare you think of your face but your body is just as important. Sleepy lotion is 19.95 for a 7.3oz container.
Thank you guys for reading My Skin Care I Cant Live Without. I hope everyone has a great week & I want you to let me know if you have any life changing skincare products that I need to try.
