Must Have Spring Lip Colors

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted.  I have had so much going on in my life lately, I just really haven't had the time.  I promise I will start posting more frequently though.  With the VIB sale coming up this week, I am about to order a bunch of products I have been holding out on to get the 15% off.  I really hope you like these pop of color lippies I'm going to show you today! I do apologize that most of these are going to be high end.  I do have some drug store/cheaper options, but I tend to gravitate toward the higher end formulas when it comes to bright colors as they have a longer staying power, in my opinion.

Too Faced Liquid Lip Stick in Coral

This pinky coral is one of my all time favorites.  I love how much pink is in it so that I can pull it off with my cooler skin tone.  The formula of this one is also amazing.  It dries down to a demi-matte finish, and the lasting power is about 3 hours on this one.  I generally can drink with it on, but when I eat I will have to reapply afterwards.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Watermelon

This lip stain tends to swing on the warm hot pink side with a touch of orange.  I feel this lip color isn't as opaque as some of the other ones I'm talking about today, but the staying power is great.  This stain dries down to a matte finish, and it stains your lips even after the cream goes away.  I can get a good six hours out of this lip color.  It will not budge even with eating and drinking.  These can be a little drying though and show dry patches so I would suggest exfoliating beforehand.

Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Tangerine & Lingonberry

(L) Lignonberry (R) Tangerine
This is by far my favorite formula of a lipstick I own.  These are so moisturizing and come in so many different colors that there's something for everyone! This is one of the limited edition duos, but it's still available at Sephora.  I haven't seen these in their permanent line yet, but I'm sure they will become new additions with springtime quickly approaching.  Tangerine is a vibrant orangey-pink and Lignonberry is a pinky violet.  I love both of these colors and they are perfect with a tan.

Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Palomino & Violet

(L) Violet (R) Palomino
Palomino is one my all time favorite lipstick colors.  This duo is not available anymore, but both of these colors can be bought in their full sizes at Sephora.  Palomino is a bright fuchsia & Violet is a bright purple pink.

Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Quince

Quince is a beauty bright magenta color.  This pencil is so pigmented that once swipe, and it is completely opaque.  The only problem I have with this formula is it can slip off the lips because it's so moisturizing, but other than that it lasts forever on the lips.  This is a twist up pencil so no sharpening needed! To make it last longer, I would suggest lightly laying a tissue over and blotting with some translucent powder.

MAC Cosmetics Lip Sticks in Flamingo, Pink Pigeon, & Chatterbox

(Top) Flamingo (M) Chatterbox (Bottom) Pink Pigeon
I always love MAC lipsticks.  Pink Pigeon has to be the favorite out of the group though.  I do like matte finishes the best, but there is something about this color that I always tend to gravitate to.  It is extremely bright cool toned pink, and with the matte formula it will not move on the lips.  Flamingo is really nice when I want a softer pink, but  I still want to make somewhat of a statement.  This one lasts the least amount of time on the lips since it is a Lustre finish.  Chatterbox is a great blue tone pink for any occasion.

Revlon Matte Balm in Unapologetic & Revlon Lacquer Balm in Vivacious

Unapologetic (L) Vivacious (R)
These are the best affordable bright lips on the market.  I love all of the colors in the collection, but these two stand out for spring.  They aren't the longest lasting, but they are incredibly pigmented.  I love them in the pencil form because it makes them easy to apply and they are DRUGSTORE LIPPIES THAT ARE TWIST UP!!! Both are warm toned bright pinks.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Berlin

This is my Holy Grail of liquid lipsticks.  I wish I could own all of these because I love how they feel on the lips.  They go on so smoothly and last for hours through all the eating and drinking your heart desires.  Berlin is a bright coral pink.  It does dry down matte which I love and it doesn't accentuate any of the dry patches in my lips.  It will never cease to amaze me how damn pigmented these are as well.

I really hope you enjoyed my favorites for spring lips colors.  Let me know what your spring lip go to is or what trends you are excited for this spring! Love you guys & I will talk to you soon.

xoxo
Katie
