How I Fill in my Brows
I have a relatively low maintenance brow routine, but I feel like it is essential to doing my make up. If I'm gonna wear any make up, it's going to be my brows. People can do them so wrong too. I am fortunate with very thick brow hairs that tend to be on the course side. One of my brows is pretty full & I just fill it in at the tail and on the edges just to give it more definition, but my left brow is the trouble brow which gets extremely sparse at the tail and I have to do quite a bit of drawing on that side. I do have to set my brows as well because of how crazy they can get.
The two products that I use is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Caramel & the Benefit Gimme Brow in the darker shade. Before I dyed my hair lighter, I was using the Brow Wiz in the shade Dark Brown, but I think it may be too dark for my current hair color. I may purchase a darker Brow Wiz cause I think I want to define my brows a little more than they are currently. I am going to admit, I am not perfect or an expert at my brows, but I like the way they turn out. Here is a step by step guide on my brow routine.
First I take the spool side of the Brow Wiz and brush my brow hairs up then over just to get them some what going in the same direction.
To fill in my brows, I start from the middle to the tail using short strokes going in the same direction as my hair grows. I use a light hand at the beginning then use a heavier hand at the tail. My right brow I do not over draw because it is pretty must to my liking. I do make the tail a little thicker for some more definition. For my left brow, the tail is almost non existent, so I completely fill in the tail and define the middle a little more because I want it to be a little thicker. I line the bottom first and make my way up so that the bottom line of my brows is super defined compared to the other parts.
The final step is I set my brows with the Gimme Brow. I just run it once though my brows and the tint on the product makes them just a little bit darker than the pencil.
I will also take a light eye shadows to highlight my brow bone which makes my eye brow look more defined and can really change how your brows look.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I do my brows. There are many ways to do your brows and this is the way that I like to do mine. I am not an expert by any means like I said, but I like my brows especially my right one, but don't let the left one know I picked a favorite. :)
I hope you enjoyed this somewhat of a tutorial on my brows. I want to do a tutorial on the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette so expect that coming soon as well as a haul of my most recent purchases which will be coming this week as well. Talk to you guys soon!
