March Favorites 2015

Let me just say that I cannot believe that it is already the end of March.  I don't understand where this year is going! This is my March favorites.  These are going to be beauty items, and I am going to include some lifestyle favorites as well.  Let me know if you just want me to just post my beauty favorites or if you like to see the other things I am enjoying for the month as well. :)

Beauty Favorites:
I purchased a couple new things this month so I have a few new items that I am absolutely loving.  The Kat Von D Ink Liner in Trooper has been an absolute favorite.  I had been using the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner in black, but it isn't completely matte.  I want my eye liner to black as night as well as matte and the Stila one had a sheen to it which I didn't care for.  I still love that eye liner but, I just prefer the Kat Von D one.  I think I have finally found my holy grail in liners.  This one is absolutely amazing and I hope it lasts me.

This is a cult favorite in the beauty community so this will be no surprise to anyone.  I am obsessed with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in Opal.  I have owned Rose Gold for a while, but I am a little too pale to rock it right now so Opal has been perfect.  This highlighter is absolutely gorgeous.  It's the perfect pinky champaign color and it is so flattering on the skin.  This is a pretty harsh highlighter so make sure that you like an obvious highlight if you pick this one up.  A little does go on a long way so even though it is a pricey product, you'll be able to use it for a while before you run out.

Another favorite of mine is the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy.  I have atrocious dark circles so this product is an essential for my make up routine.  I put it on after moisturizer, and let it sink in.  I dot it under my eyes then use the metal applicator to rub it into my under eyes and it makes the appearance of my dark circles less harsh.  I do use concealer over it to make sure my under eyes look as a good as they can which leads me into my next favorite for March.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard.  This stuff will cover anything.  It does have a thicker consistency, but I love that texture in a concealer.  It will crease under my eyes if I don't set it, but I like to set my concealer regardless so that I have a more matte finish on my face.  The best part about this concealer is that I can use it not only for my under eyes, but also for anywhere else I may need to conceal.  My nose gets super red so I use it there as well.  If you get this in a lighter shade, it is perfect for highlighting.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes.  This is such a good every day lip color.  The best part is that it will stay on your lips all day as well! It goes on as a cream then dries down to a matte finish, but it isn't drying in the least bit.  This product also smells like cake batter which is a win in itself! I have these in a couple different colors, but this one is so insanely wearable that I can't seem to put it down.  I'm also a sucker for long wearing lip products so this one makes me extremely happy.

My other favorite lippie of the month is another new purchase.  It's Brave lipstick by MAC.  It's a satin finish, and you can never go wrong with any MAC lipstick.  I had planned on purchasing Faux, but after seeing a swatch of this color, I was sold.  I liked it even more than Faux! I used to be such a bright lipstick color person, but now I have been loving these dusty pink nudes.  I can never resist buying them! There is transfer when you drink with this lipstick, but it still does last a decent amount of time.

Lifestyle Favorites:
I have been listening to a few new songs this month and these are the ones that I am absolutely obsessed with.
DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge- You Know You Like It; this song just pumps me up and I jam out so hard to it.  Whenever it is on in the car, I swear everyone around me gets a show cause I can't help but dance and sing to it.
Joe Jonas- Chains; Joe Jonas is gorgeous (and my boyfriend looks like him ahhhh) and this song is super catchy.  I really like the beat and it's something I can just sing along to.
Echosmith- Bright; I love how sweet of a song this is and the lyrics are on point.  It's something easy to listen to & it's so catchy.

People Favorites:
I have discovered Good Mythical Morning this month and I LOVE IT.  I have only been watching it for two weeks and I can't even tell you how many episodes I've watched.  I LOVE RHETT! I'm from the South and he just reminds me of the sweet Southern country boys that don't really exist, but you hope they do. lol! You definitely need to check out their youtube and get as addicted as I am!
Good Mythical Morning

Last but definitely not least I have to favorite my AMAZING boyfriend, Nick.  I have had such a rough month between losing my grandfather, and every day struggles that I have gone through.  I am so freaking lucky to have someone who has stuck by my side every single step of the way.  I fall in love with this man more and more every single day, and he always knows how to amaze me. <3 <3 <3
