MAC haul/review


For my first post I decided I would start with my most recent purchases and what I thought about them. I went to the mall initially to get the new warm palette they have at MAC for their All Eyes on MAC collection (I got so much more so look for a Sephora haul coming soon).  The palette is 85 dollars for a 15 full size eye shadows.  These originally retail for 150 dollars and up so it was such an amazing deal I could not pass it up.  Also the colors are absolutely gorgeous! The colors from left to right, from top to bottom are:

They also have mini 9 palettes that are 40 dollars.  They have four different ones, but I chose the Burgundy Times Nine.  This palette is so gorgeous, and all the colors are insanely pigmented. I originally saw this online and knew that this would be one that I would have to take home with me.  These are not full size like the 15 palette, but for not being neutral eye shadows they are a perfect addition for that pop of color without having a full size that you would not use up.  The colors in this palette are:

Overall, I am insanely pleased with these shadows.  I have always loved the quality of MAC eye shadows, but to get these at such a great deal is icing on the cake.  I do enjoy warmer eye shadows so that's why I chose the warm one, but the cool toned palette is just as stunning.  These still are available on the MAC website and they still have them at my mall so you need to add them to your collection NOW.  I don't know how long these will be out, but they are definitely a deal you cannot pass up.  Let me know if you would like to see a tutorial or eye look with these shadows.  Some of my favorite colors have been Amber Lights, Honey Lust & Divine Decadence from the Warm Neutral Palette & Antiqued, Haux & Star Violet from the Burgundy Times Nine Palette.  I love how they combined so many different finishes as well.  There's a great combination of satin finishes as well as a few mattes so there's a little bit for everyone.

Skin Care I Can’t Live Without

Hey Everyone! I hope everyone has had a great weekend. Tonight I wanted to tell you guys about the skincare I can’t live without! To give you a background on my skin type, I have normal to dry skin that can be a little red in tone. The older I get, the more troublesome spots pop up! I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to my skincare & I probably should have a more intense regime as I get older. The cleanser that I use is the First Aid Beauty face cleanser. It doesn’t dry out my skin & is unscented for anyone that has sensitive skin. It’s relatively inexpensive with a 5oz bottle being 20 dollars. it makes my skin feel clean without being tight. My every day moisturizer is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration. So I did a little shopping because it was the VIB sale at Sephora & I had been eyeing some stuff at Ulta & they offered this amazing make up bag when you spent 60 dollars.  I bought a bunch of new stuff & I wanna show you what I got.  I am so excited for everything & I cannot wait to use it all.  Let me know if you want a review for anything or if you want me to do a tutorial with anything that I have included.
