Mermaids & Mascara

This is going to be an overview of how I store my makeup as well as a peek into what I have in my collection.  If anyone wants to see a little more of what I have or more detailed look at my drawers I may to a follow up VIDEO to this.  I am still on the fence though.  I kinda have a lot of make up.  I like to try new things, and I am addicted to buying make up, but for me, I still think it is a small collection compared to others that I have seen.  I don't own a huge drawer system or anything like that.  I just have four sets of drawers of where I keep my make up.  I also utilize the drawer in my desk for my big palettes.  My mom also keeps some of my less used make up in her room.  She got lucky with my addiction haha. Anyways, I'm going to just go drawer by drawer telling you what I keep in them.

Today I'm gonna take you guys along with me as I get ready for the rest of my day.  I'm not doing anything exciting, but I did wanna take the opportunity to kinda give you a first impression on my new products that I recently hauled from my last post.  I am going to try to use as many new things as possible.  I'm not gonna show you step by step on my face, but I'll just show you an after of everything together because the only new products I'm going to be using is the primer, which you can't see, and the concealer which I can easily explain.  I will be using my new NYX blush in summer as well.

So I did a little shopping because it was the VIB sale at Sephora & I had been eyeing some stuff at Ulta & they offered this amazing make up bag when you spent 60 dollars.  I bought a bunch of new stuff & I wanna show you what I got.  I am so excited for everything & I cannot wait to use it all.  Let me know if you want a review for anything or if you want me to do a tutorial with anything that I have included.

I have a relatively low maintenance brow routine, but I feel like it is essential to doing my make up.  If I'm gonna wear any make up, it's going to be my brows.  People can do them so wrong too.  I am fortunate with very thick brow hairs that tend to be on the course side.  One of my brows is pretty full & I just fill it in at the tail and on the edges just to give it more definition, but my left brow is the trouble brow which gets extremely sparse at the tail and I have to do quite a bit of drawing on that side.  I do have to set my brows as well because of how crazy they can get. The two products that I use is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Caramel & the Benefit Gimme Brow in the darker shade.  Before I dyed my hair lighter, I was using the Brow Wiz in the shade Dark Brown, but I think it may be too dark for my current hair color.  I may purchase a darker Brow Wiz cause I think I want to define my brows a little more than they are ...

Okay, so I know this is definitely different than what I normally post, but I have had so much on my mind recently, and I have a few thoughts that I wanted to share with everyone.  Maybe, advice if you want to call it that.  So I have a TON of friends that are pregnant, have kids, or plan to have kids.  On my social media feed, all I see is engagements, weddings, & babies.  Granted, this is wonderful & amazing news, & I am happy for everyone, but I can't but help to sit here & wonder what the hell I'm doing with my life....

This week I have placed two orders for new products.  I ordered from Sephora & Ulta & I cannot wait until I get what I ordered.  There are a bunch of drugstore products in there & I ordered some new concealers.  I'm thinking of doing a review on a bunch of concealers that I own & which ones are my favorites & which ones I don't like as much.  Please let me know what you would like to see.  I ordered a few new lip products which I am excited about, but nothing to groundbreaking.  I still am super excited.  I am going to do a tutorial with the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar palette this week.  I may get it up tomorrow depending upon how tired I am after work.  My schedule this week has been killing me with how much I have been opening.  I pretty much don't accomplish anything on those days unfortunately.  Well, hopefully I will have something worth reading up tomorrow.  Please give me more suggestions on w...

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted.  I have had so much going on in my life lately, I just really haven't had the time.  I promise I will start posting more frequently though.  With the VIB sale coming up this week, I am about to order a bunch of products I have been holding out on to get the 15% off.  I really hope you like these pop of color lippies I'm going to show you today! I do apologize that most of these are going to be high end.  I do have some drug store/cheaper options, but I tend to gravitate toward the higher end formulas when it comes to bright colors as they have a longer staying power, in my opinion.

Just found out that Kat Von D is releasing 16 new everlasting lipsticks in July. This is entirely too far away. The formulation of these are my favorite of any liquid lipstick hands down & the staying power is phenom! I am posting this real quick from my phone because I am that freaking excited!!!! I just ordered another one from Sephora last night in the color Berlin. Oh my goodness, I hope they release all the colors soon. The only ones I've seen so far is a blood red, black, & blue. Let me just say that I cannot believe that it is already the end of March.  I don't understand where this year is going! Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a couple days but my work schedule has been killing me especially with Easter coming up.  Anyways, today's post is all about beauty tools.  You can have the have the best make up products in the world, but if you don't have the right tools to put them on with they can be practically useless. I have six to share with you today.

Tonight, I was going to my boyfriend's house for dinner and wanted to do something special for my make up.  I went with this golden eye look with the new MAC warm palette from the eyes on MAC collection. I skipped showing my face and lips in this tutorial, but if you want me to show you my every day full face look let me know.

So around Christmas time, as a gift, my mom purchased for me the Sephora favorites kit that they offered.  It had so many amazing products, and a bunch of them were full size.  With this kit, I discovered the Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil.

Hello lovelies! Today I am going to be giving you a review of the Colour Pop Lippie Stix.  I purchased six different colors, and so far I really like them.  They're a bargain at 5 dollars each and they come in five different finishes; matte, satin, glossy, hyper-glossy, and the newest, cream.  I have four satin and two matte that I will be sharing with you today.  They just released a bunch of new spring colors, and I will probably be ordering some of the new shades soon.  One of the downfalls about colour pop is that it is only an online store, so you cannot look at the shades in person, but they do show swatches on three different skin tones so you can get somewhat of an idea of the color you are purchasing.  The quality for the price is absolutely amazing.  I still cannot believe that these only retail for five dollars a piece.   They are all insanely pigmented. For my first post I decided I would start with my most recent purchases and what I thought about them. I went to the mall initially to get the new warm palette they have at MAC for their All Eyes on MAC collection (I got so much more so look for a Sephora haul coming soon).  The palette is 85 dollars for a 15 full size eye shadows.  These originally retail for 150 dollars and up so it was such an amazing deal I could not pass it up.  Also the colors are absolutely gorgeous!
